What Does APWT Mean?
APWT means All People Will Travel. The concept of APWT was born out of a love of travel. At first it was about physical travel, the exploration of new cities, new countries, the further away the better. Then it was about local places and spaces, taking a new route, looking at our own city, our own neighborhoods through the eyes of an explorer.
APWT is about taking that curiosity and applying it externally and internally. It started off as a statement about physical travel, and evolved into a reflection of a journey that continues on long after you’ve landed.
Who is the APWT Gift Shop?
APWT Gift Shop is part of APWT Stationery, a small independently owned business based out of New York City.
We are photographers and designers, so all of the products in our shop feature original photography and designs taken and designed by us.
The APWT Gift Shop is also a women owned and black owned business.
What Type of Products do you Sell?
We sell t-shirts, sweatshirts, tote bags, hats, mugs, stickers with more coming soon. We are constantly updating our inventory with fun and interesting items, so make sure to sign-up for our newsletter for the latest updates to product selection.
All of our products feature original photography or designs taken and created by us, and are then printed or embroidered by our manufacturing partner on the products featured in the store. The products offered, image, design, product type, size options, color options, image orientation, design orientation, color combinations, oversized or fitting, glossy or matte, large image or small image, all decisions that go into the end product are determined by us and our vision for the product.
We are a small business, and at our core we are creatives and designers not manufacturers. We work with an outside printing and manufacturing partner to help produce our products. Our items are only made by request, which means your product isn't made until you order it. This partnership allows us to develop our products efficiently, without keeping unnecessary stock on-hand. It also means we can offer more sizes, more color options, and more great options for you to consider while minimizing the cost to us and the environment.
Cancellation, Refunds and Returns
You have up (12) hours from placing your order to request a cancellation. We will not honor any request for cancellation after this time.
You can request a return/refund up to (30) days from product delivery date. We will not honor refund requests after this date.
Included in your delivery package is a packing slip that includes details about your order, care instructions, and a product return address. Please keep packing slip in a safe place in case you need to return the item or to remember how to care for your item.
Please make sure to read care instructions for your item, we will not be responsible for items that have not been preserved according to care recommendations. For stickers, please adhere to the application instructions listed. We will not be responsible normal sticker deterioration from overuse, normal wear and tear, exposure to liquid, weather damage, or incorrect application processes.
If you request a refund within the refund window, you will be responsible for return shipping, but we will refund your original shipping cost plus the cost of the item.
Please note that all of our shop items are made by request, please read specifications before purchase, we do not ‘re-shelve’ returned items, they are taken as a loss for us.
Ordered the wrong size? Unfortunately, you will have to re-order the item in the new size. Please review size chart if you are not sure about sizing. We will refund you for the original garment plus the original shipping once the item has been sent back. You will be responsible for return shipping.
Item arrived damaged or printing not satisfactory? Send us a picture of the product, and we will try to fix the problem with a new item, or we will refund your payment.

Do you offer Gift Wrapping Services?
We do not offer gift wrapping or personalized notes at this time, but we do offer Gift E-mails
What is a Gift E-mail?
A Gift E-mail is sent to a person receiving a gift, letting them know that a gift has been ordered by the sender. A Gift E-mail includes the following information:
- A personalized note from the sender
- Photos of the products that were ordered in the color they were ordered in
- Product names
Do you want your gift selection to be a surprise? You can also choose not to include product information in your Gift E-Mail. Product prices will not be included in the e-mail or on the packing slip included with the order.
Why send a Gift E-mail?
We do not offer gift notes or gift wrapping for any of our products at this time, but we do offer Gift E-mails.
All of our products are made by request, so the delivery time may take a little longer than you're used to, especially around the holidays. Gift E-mails are a good option if you think a gift won't make it to its destination in time, or you just want to alert a gift recipient that a gift is on the way.
How do I request a Gift E-mail?
- At the bottom of each product listing there is a Gift E-mail Request link.
- Fill out the gift e-mail request form
- Make sure to select a date for gift e-mail delivery that is at least 2 days from the date you are making the request so we can process your e-mail. (Example: Monday request, Wednesday earliest e-mail delivery date, Tuesday request, Thursday earliest e-mail delivery date, etc)
- All gift e-mails are sent at 7:00am EST on the delivery date. Copies of the e-mail will be sent to both you and the gift recipient
Do you Sell Gift Cards?
Digital Gift Cards are available in the shop. Gift cards start at $25, up to $150.
Personalize, purchase, and send! Gift card recipient will receive an e-mail with your message, the card amount, card expiration date, and a code to use at checkout.
Digital Gift Cards are good for up to (1) year from purchase.
